"Defiance" stands as a testament to unyielding spirit—a brown horse anchored on a grassy rise, its mane caught in an unseen current. The sky behind folds into sweeping clouds, hinting at both stillness and storm. In this piece, I sought to weave the raw energy of wildness with the quiet resilience that lives beneath it, using the interplay of acrylic and Chinese ink to give form to a moment that feels both deeply grounded and charged with movement. It is an exploration of freedom—not just in the open air, but in the steadfast will to remain true to oneself amidst shifting winds.
